Tender Trap are a London-based indie-pop band featuring Amelia Fletcher, Rob Pursey, John Stanley, Katrina Dixon and Emily Bennett. The band started in 2001 in London with the idea to record two-minute songs without middle 8s or excessive choruses. The three were previously in Marine Research. Before that Rob and Amelia were in Heavenly. And before that Amelia was in Talulah Gosh.

More recently, Rob and Amelia moonlighted in Sportique while John continued his double life as DJ Downfall. The band added Katrina Dixon and Elizabeth Morris in 2009.

Morris left the band in 2011 to focus her attention on her other band, Allo Darlin' and was replaced with Bennett.
